The territory of St. Joseph Vaz Church covers the area from the North (Vijitha Lane of the Old Galle Road) to South (Point Modera) and from the East (Panadura Bridge) to West (Vijitha Lane of the New Galle Road). It includes the land area that covers the first Novena of the parish of Katukurunda. The first novena comprises of six zones.
