These are Marriages that are permitted to be registered civilly prior to the Church Wedding Celebration due to extraordinary reasons concerning mostly obtaining Visas for foreign employment, study or migration purposes. The contracting parties must personally meet the bishop for an interview that make inquiries into the validity of reasons before granting such permission. The documentation process is initiated from the respective parishes of the parties through their Parish Priests. Once the civil registration is done the parties must live separately until the day where they will marry in the church as they promised to do so before the bishop. They must within the time frame granted by the bishop make all efforts to marry in the Church without delay keeping to their promises. Failing to do so they will not be able to solemnize their marriage again in the Catholic Church.
